Nature Trail...Important? Of Course :)

The Nature Trail is important to the community mainly because it provides a place for people in the community to walk and enjoy nature without causing harm to themselves or the habitat. A nature trail provides certain walking areas for individuals to walk on, this ensures that no damage is done to anything. A nature trail may also be efficient to protect wildlife that is not so common and that we as a community want to preserve. The trail is important to me because it provides a "get-a-way" in a sense. If i ever were to want to take a peaceful safe walk, i could there. If its still around in the far future, it could also be a place to take my children when i have them. The nature trail is just an all around beneficial place. :)

15 Things I Saw on The Nature Trail

On our journey through the nature trail behind Northwestern, i saw many things, some ordinary and some not so ordinary. i also witnessed the relationship between the environment and animals and plants. I saw many plants such as poison ivy, wild roses, vines & poke weed. I also noticed many trees such as maple, oak, birch and a box cutter tree. Animals that were seen were those annoying box elder bugs, birds, a chipmunk & a squirrel. Some random things i saw were the fence line, the amphitheater and some old benches. I saw many other things on this adventure but some of which i don't know the names. It was a very fun experience.
